In a medium size (non-metallic) bowl, mix all ingredients in the order listed. Stir until ingredients are blended and a batter forms.
Refrigerate batter uncovered for 45-60 minutes or until batter is thick and chilled.
Heat oil to 375 degrees in a Dutch oven, a fryer, or a pot with high sides.
Form batter into 1 inch size balls, and place balls into a spiral wire skimmer spoon or metal slotted spoon and drop carefully into hot oil. Fry until done. Carefully remove with spiral wire skimmer spoon or metal tongs. Drain on paper towels.
