Southern Cheese Grits

water

quick cooking grits

cups
sharp cheddar cheese
shredded
Instructions
In a large saucepan, bring water to a rolling boil.
Stir in grits. Return to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer 5-7 minutes until desired thickness.
Remove from heat. Stir in shredded cheese until well blended.
