That first dorm room! Do you remember yours? Oh my, I sure do! I was in Plunkett Hall at Mercer – main floor. Gosh, it was tiny, kind of smelled (we were messy & the a/c was old – terrible combo!) but it was right across from the Dining Hall. Score! Fabulous memories in Plunkett. Make sure when you are stocking up on twin sheet sets for the dorm, you are purchasing twin xl sets! Because dorm beds are unisex, they are longer than standard twins, and regular twin sets will not fit. Microfiber sheets are ideal for the dorm lifestyle; they dry super fast in the dryer, which is great if there is a line to use the laundry facilities on Sunday nights!
