THE CONCERT OF THE SUMMER! Four ultimate ’80’s rock bands are coming together in the summer of 2022 for a MASSIVE stadium tour across the U.S.A. We attended the June 19 concert in Orlando, and here is the lowdown and a few tips!

Is There an Opening Band Before the Concert Line Up?

Nope! The bands start from the get-go. We purchased our tickets in early 2020, before the pandemic shutdown. Lawd have mercy, we waited (as did MILLIONS of fans) for 2 years for this concert! Thank heavens the promoters did not stack the concert’s opening with lots of filler bands before the Big Four!

I heard there were a few people tailgating before the gates opened at 4:30PM. If this is your game plan, pack a ziplock baggie with Cheesy Fire “Crackers! These are doctored up Cheez-It crackers that are PERFECT for stadium tailgating!

What is the Band Line Up for The Stadium Tour Concert?

For the Orlando set, here was the line up:

• Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
• Poison
• Motley Crue
• Def Leppard

The acoustics were so good at Camping World Stadium! It was not too loud but a few families with little kids made sure they had ear plugs! Psst:

• 7 hours total, from start to finish!
• 4:30P-11:30P
• There is a half hour break between acts.
• A few of the acts played sets that were a little over an hour.

Pro Tips for Attending The Stadium Tour with Joan Jett, Poison, Motley Crue, and Def Leppart Contert:

Newsflash: The concert dates all fall between June and early September. Unless you are lucky enough to be waaaay up north, here are some tips:

• Research your stadium’s policy on the size and type of bags that are allowed. I bought one very similar like this.
• Take a few individual electrolyte drink packets! You can put these in the water bottle you purchase to stay hydrated during the hours outside.
• Tuck a small bag of nuts (I took a mini Kind bar) in your bag or pocket. Food is not allowed inside stadiums as a general rule, but most security teams will let you take a SMALL amount of protein with you. My sweet friend who was with us packed a ziplop baggie with mixed nuts, and by the time Poison was on stage, we were passing it around!
• Cheap sunglasses (so you won’t care if they fall/get scratched), gel sanitizer, and sunscreen.

You guys, the lines were LONG for concert t-shirts! Get in line EARLY as they sold out of the main Stadium Tour t-shirt before Poison was finished! We circled several merchandise areas & found the shortest lines were actually at the entry gate! Go figure. I guess everyone wanted to wait on merch until after they got to their seats, etc.
