An ice cream pie is an easy summertime dessert that can be made ahead of your party or evening supper! I made this one with a graham cracker crust and Reese’s™ as the star, but you could use an Oreo™ crumb crust and Oreo’s™ as the star!
The Players on the Field: Ice Cream Pie with Reese’s™
- Ice cream: Either 2 pints of the same or 1 pint of different flavors. (That’s what I did here.)
- Graham crackers
- Butter (no margarine!)
- Chopped Reese’s™ OR chopped Oreo’s™ OR any other cookie or candy bar of your choosing!

Your Playbook for Ice Cream Pie with Reese’s™
- First, crumble graham crackers and melt the butter. (I used my mini Cuisinart® food processor to make fine graham cracker crumbs, but you could put them in a baggie and crush them by hand.)
- Let ice cream come to room temperature while you prepare the crust. (You can use premade crust if you wish, but baking the graham crackers and butter is sooooo good!)
- To make the crust, add melted butter to crushed graham cracker crust and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Chop candy or cookies. Set aside.
- Put ice cream in a bowl and stir. Add half of the candy & stir. (Save remaining candy: it will be your topping!) Pour ice cream mixture into baked crust.
- Cover and freeze until firm. When ready, and remaining candy and serve!
