Dry Ingredients - Make ahead & store until you want pancakes!
4cupsall purpose flour
3tablespoonsbaking powder
1teaspoonsalt
3tablespoons sugar
2teaspoonsbaking soda
Wet Ingredients - You will need to add these ingredients to your dry ingredients.
1egg
1cupmilkfat free is fine - whole yields better results but is not required
1tablespoonmelted butter or oil
1cuppancake mix
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients together until just incorporated - do not over mix!
Now, at this point you can store dry ingredients in a ziplock back and keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to whip up pancakes! If you are ready to make pancakes....keep reading!
In a medium bowl, add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just blended. Heat a skillet or griddle on medium heat and pour 1/3 to 1/2 cups of batter onto the griddle. Once the pancake bubbles, it is time to flip it to the to other side.
