8 countpackagerefrigerated biscuitsuse large biscuits, like Grands
1 poundbulk sausage
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
6 largeeggs
1/2cupmilk
salt & pepper as desired
12 3/4 packagepeppered gravy mixmakes 2 cups
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Apply non-stick spray to a 13x9 baking dish. Set aside.
Make gravy according to package instructions. Set aside.
Cook the sausage over medium heat until completely browned. Drain off fat (I like to put the sausage on a paper towel covered plate.) and set aside.
Using kitchen sheers, cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Cover the bottom of the prepared baking dish with the biscuit pieces, making sure you have an even layer of biscuit dough.
Spread cooked sausage on top of the biscuits, then cover sausage with cheese.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. (Add salt & pepper now, if desired.) Pour mixture on top of casserole. Pour the gravy on top of casserole, covering the dish end to end.
