Your Playbook for Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wings

Place your chicken wings in the basket of your air fryer. We are using our portable (tailgate ready!) Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill & Smoker which has an air fryer setting, but a traditional air fryer works just the same!
Brush chicken wings (on both sides) with duck fat. If you do not have duck fat, spray the basket of your air fryer with non-stick cooking spray. Btw, it took me waaaaaay too long to jump on the silicone pastry brush wagon! They are SO easy to clean, especially when fat is involved!

Season with salt & pepper. Freshly ground pepper really shines in this recipe, but regular pepper is fine, too.

Set the air fryer at 380 degrees and cook for 12 minutes. Next, turn the wings over and cook at 380 for an additional 12 minutes. Finally, set the air fryer at 410 degrees and cook another 5 minutes. This process really ensures crispy wings!

While the chicken is doing its thing in the air fryer, whip up the buffalo sauce!
This sauce.
